Global supply chains (GSC) are a reality for most companies today. GSCs bring cost and market advantages, but also bring increased risks. This session will examine changes that can be expected in GSCs in the next ten years, and their impact upon Supply Chain Management. In addition, a framework for assessing, managing, and mitigating Global Supply Chain Risk will be presented. The presentation will also provide insights into how several companies manage Global Supply Chain Risk Management. In this session, participants will learn:
- To identify risks that can be expected to affect their supply chains over the next five years;
- How to evaluate the impact of these risks; and
- How to manage and mitigate the Global Supply Chain Risks their companies will face.
